(Aritzia coat, Topshop leather pants, Public Desire Libby boots, Yoshop suede and chain crossbody bag, Calico choker)
Last week when the snow was starting to melt in Boston! Took a quick walk around the city and got some much needed fresh air. Recent favorites have been these boots from Public Desire - they hug the ankle perfectly and are super flattering. Definitely want to try these in other colors! Also have been loving this chain bag from Yoshop, which is a great alternative to the Chloe Faye bag. One thing I always suggest when thinking about investment purchases is buying a similar, cheaper alternative and seeing if you get the wear out of it first! This one is a great option and definitely looks like it will hold up. For me, this was good enough to shift my opinion away a bit from getting the Faye - so now i’m onto thinking about what the next addition will be…
(allsaints biker leather jacket, zaful hoodie, lululemon leggings, stuart weitzman boots)
The weather has felt so limiting in Boston recently - everything I wore was solely for warmth. But I was super excited because I finally got to venture outside this past weekend without my parka! Unfortunately the weather has turned again, but at least the hoodie x favorite biker jacket combo got to see the light once before nature realized that it is still winter.
This hoodie from Zaful has constantly been in my rotation of most worn clothes as of late. It definitely has held up super well through all the wears. I especially love how the extra long cozy sleeves can poke through a leather jacket to add that extra detail. The long hoodie strings, contrasted with the cropped fit is a great touch as well! Pairing it with some high waisted leggings is my favorite way to do the athleisure trend.
Today I am teaming up with JORD wood watches to share a great gift option - whether it be last minute for the holidays this season, or for any other occasions coming up. They have options for both men’s and women’s watches that suit so many different styles. If you are interested in some unique wood watches, check out the end of my post for e gift codes to JORD!
My favorite part of the brand is their focus on sustainability, craftsmanship, and its unique quality (they source wood from all around the world!). It also brings a fresh option to add to your accessory collection - I especially love the casual, laid back, but luxe vibes it conveys. The wood gives it a rustic look, while the face has a sleek design to still give it a modern feel.
The watch I selected was the Frankie 35 in Dark Sandalwood & Slate. My first impression was I was impressed with the wooden box it came in - this is something you could use to continue to store your watch, or any other little items. Wonderful detail to attention here, which is continually carried out through the watch itself.
Typically I am more into metal and leather textures for accessories, but this one caught my eye with the dark toned wood mixed with the rose gold details on the face. It smoothly integrates into my usual styles of sleeker accessories. Being a fairly petite person, I usually shy away from “bulkier” watches. A nice surprise with the Frankie 35 was how the larger face keeps a menswear inspired vibe, but is balanced out nicely with a much slimmer band. I love contrasting it with other oversized pieces, and some thigh high boots. It is also quite a lightweight watch - so super comfortable to wear and travel with, but definitely still feels solid and durable.
And of course, JORD is offering some cool opportunities for you to get your hands on a watch like this! Anyone who signs up through the giveaway link will get a $25 JORD e gift code, and 1 winner will get a $100 JORD e gift code! The giveaway is now open and will run through 1/15/17. Both codes will expire on 3/31/17. Visit the link below to enter!

A couple shots from the best time of year, with all my favorites - blush, velvet, and over the knee boots.
Taking some time to switch it up a bit and talk about some skincare products from Peach & Lily. I’ve always been one to be super sporadic in using skincare products, but there are a couple products by Caolion that have been tempting me into a more regular routine over the past few weeks.
First step: a cleanse using the Chitosan Foam Cleanser. Formulated with unshiu/Jeju mandarin oil, its antioxidants help to balance the skin’s pH and leaves a super refreshing feeling.
The next two products I have been alternating out.
One is the Premium Blackhead Steam Pore Pack - a mask with micro oxygen bubbles that form and pop as the mask sits on the skin. The action of the popping bubbles left a bit of a tickling sensation due to the popping movements, but it is certainly something entertaining to watch and it does leave me with extremely smooth feeling skin. And for that entertainment factor, I would have to say this might be my favorite of the four products.
The other is the Premium Original Pore Pack - a mask that leaves a super refreshing menthol/cooling sensation on the skin. It is also composed of a glacial clay, and alaskan glacial water to form a soothing and relaxing experience. I would say of the two, the Original Pore Pack is more refreshing. The cooling sensation may be intense for some - but personally, I enjoy it as it gives me a sense that the mask is “working”.
And finally, the Pore Tightening Memory Sleeping Mask. This mask is one that can be left on overnight and spashed off in the morning. It tightens the pores, brightens the skin, and enhances elasticity for when you wake up. Definitely a win when you can take care of your skin while sleeping.
You can get this combined kit on Peach & Lily as a specially priced set, with the cleanser thrown in for free here!
Thanks to Peach & Lily team for sharing these new products!
